My name is Curt Busch. Welcome to our web page. Our thanks goes out to Denise Snyders for her efforts in coordinating our district's web page. We are pleased more and more of our patrons are using this tool as a means of communication with our school. We know when our school and families communicate and work together student achievement for our students will increase.
I am happy to announce our ACT results for the 2008-2009 school year. The composite score for our district was 23.4. This composite score of 23.4 was the highest composite score achieved by our students in the last five years. In addition, our district's reading score was 24.2. Our reading score has improved steadily for the last three years. We would like to congratulate our students and staff for a job well done.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind our parents about parent teacher conferences. Fall conferences will be held at the high school on October 26 and 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Spring conferences will be held on March 8 and 11. We want to continue our best efforts to work with you to provide the best education possible for our students. Another tool to communicate with us is the on-line survey found on our web site.
