Dental Sealants

On Friday, November 16, 2012 students in second and third grade were given an opportunity to have dental sealants and a fluoride varnish  put on their teeth.  Dawn Ericson, a registered dental hygienist, and her staff from Mid-Sioux Opportunities, Inc. provided the free service to all students who chose to participate. The response to this program was great.  All of the kids who participated were given a small gift bag. The gift bag included a variety of items.  Some of the items included in the gift bag were:  a toothbrush, toothpaste, two minute timer, small game, floss, and a pencil. 

 Our class returned the most slips this year, so we will receive an additional prize soon.
