On January 29th, 1985 a cute bundle of joy, named Stephanie,
otherwise known as “Sugee” (given to her by her friend, Andrea) was
brought into the loving family of Evan and Linda. Now that she is
18 and all grown up you can find this senior on the basketball
court, volleyball court and the track.
Stephanie has been involved in many sports including volleyball, track, basketball, and softball. She has also taken pride in Central Lyon by participating in Pep club, National Honor Society and was the class president her freshman year. Stephanie also had the honor of being on the 2002 homecoming court. She is also very active in RCYF and the First Reformed Church of Rock Rapids.
Stephanie is taking many classes her senior year including, government, work study at S-R, sociology, business law, calculus, Spanish IV, business marketing, grammar, P.E., automated accounting, and psychology. With all of Stephanie’s academic excellence she received the Kauffman Foundation Entrepreneurial Scholarship.
When it comes time for fun and favorites, Steph’s favorite movie is Now and Then, her favorite color is green, her favorite t.v. show is “Friends” and her favorite subject is math.
If Stephanie won a trip anywhere, she would hop in her car and go on a road trip with Theresa, Melinda and Andrea. In the future Steph sees herself at a four-year college majoring in Business and getting a minor in the physical training.
One of Steph’s most memorable times in high school is the Florida band trip. I wish her all the luck in the world!
