Fun-loving. Crazy (sometimes). These are just a few of the words I
would use to describe Sarah. Sarah was born on October 11, 1985 in
Sioux Falls, SD. Sarah’s family includes her twin Annie, her U of
Iowa brother Charles, and her parents Matt and Cindy.
Over the past four years Sarah has been involved in many activities in school including Ultimate Disc, the school musical, speech, the all school play, and mock trial.
This year Sarah is taking GTA, chemistry, sociology, Spanish IV, speech, journalism, grammar, and homes by design. Talk about a heavy workload!
Some of Sarah’s favorites include: movies- The 6th Sense and Chicago, color- pink, book- She’s Come Undone, food- chicken breast, subjects- Spanish and English, and TV show- CSI. Her dream car would be a BMW Roadster. Oh and by the way, Sarah just LOVES to sing! She has had the lead in CL musicals and was named outstanding performer at State Music contest. If Sarah won a trip somewhere she would go to Spain with her sister.
The people Sarah admires the most are Tom G. and Ginger R. Tom was her first director in her first play. Sarah admires Ginger because “without her, you’d never hear me sing in public.”
In the future Sarah hopes to attend the University of Iowa to major in Vocal Performance and Spanish. Ten years from now she sees herself traveling the world performing for millions.
Sarah would like to give underclassmen the following advice: “Don’t be afraid to try something new in high school. Nobody says what you can or can’t do. You are the judge of yourself.” Well said Sarah!
The journalism staff and I would like to say best of luck in all that you do, Sarah!
