Most School Spirit
John and Melissa S. welcomed their first baby girl into the
world on March 10, 1991. Ashley Renae S. has three younger
brothers, Allen, Michael, and Daniel.
Ashley has kept very busy throughout high school. She is the senior class president. She is also involved National Honor Society, International Club, Swing Choir, Jazz Choir, Tap, and TATU. She also participated in volleyball, wrestling and basketball manager, golf, and track. In high school she has been on the high honor roll. Ashley also attended Iowa Girl’s State. Ashley was voted “Most School Spirit” by her classmates. Ashley also attends the Catholic Youth Organization and is a Vacation Bible School leader.
Ashley is being kept very active this year. She is taking government, Spanish III, work study, single survival, choir, advanced math, social psychology, and grammar.
In her spare time, Ashley likes watching the movie “A Walk to Remember,” and the TV show “Army Wives” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” “The Pact” is her favorite book. Some other favorites include the color pink, country and Christian music, lasagna, and the school subjects psychology and single survival. Ashley’s future plans include attending Southeast Technical Institute and SDSU for nursing or child life specialist. In ten years Ashley sees herself finished with college and married with children.
Ashley’s most memorable high school moment was state wrestling and state football. Her words of wisdom for underclassmen are, “Be yourself, not what someone wants you to be.” If Ashley could spend one day with anyone dead or alive it would be her Great-grandpa George because she didn’t have a lot of time with him.
