Joel S., the son of Ed and Val S., was born on October 30, 1990.
He has one older brother, Brandon, and one younger sister Danielle.
Other members of his family include his fish, dog Robbie, and cat
Joel’s classes this year are government, American literature, agriculture, accounting, web page, work study, art, single survival, and shop. Joel has been involved in FFA for three years. He also is a member of the First Reformed Church in Doon and traveled to Rocky Mountain High with his church last summer.
Joel’s favorites are watching the TV shows Family Guy and Dumb and Dumber, a deep blue color, the book Into the Wild, listening to country music, eating a huge piece of pizza, and the school subject agriculture.
Joel’s future plans are to work and drive truck. In ten years Joel sees himself married with kids and living in Doon in a nice house. His most memorable high school moment is winning the state football championship and going to state wrestling. If Joel could spend a day with someone living or dead, it would be John Elway because he is very interested in him and would like to see his house and everything he has won and has experienced. Joel’s words of wisdom to the underclassmen are, “Take advantage of what high school gives you.”
