Each year Carl Perkins funds are spent in one of the 4 vocational areas; Industrial Technology,Vo-Ag, Business ED, and Family Consumer Science. This year the funds were spent on a new table saw called the SawStop. It is a saw equipped with a safety system that detects when someone accidentally comes in contact with the spinning saw blade, and then stops the blade in milliseconds.
