Foster Grandma

Grandma Claretta

Claretta Van Sloten began her volunteer duties as a Foster Grandparent in March of 2005.  She is currently working in the second grade classrooms.  Claretta volunteers at school four days a week from 8:00-12:00.  Claretta says she looks forward to coming to school because she likes to be around children.  Claretta enjoys staying busy and loves the hugs that she receives from the kids.

In her free time, Claretta enjoys taking one day trips with the Freedom Club and spending time with her family.

The second graders feel very fortunate to have such a fun grandma to help them with their work and brighten their day with her smiles!
