Kindergartners Visit Pizza Ranch

As part of our Food Pyramid Unit and also for Thanksgiving, the Kindergartners went on a field trip to Pizza Ranch. The students were given the chance to see how the employees "put in an order" on the computer and check out things behind the scenes. They were able to see the fryers used to make the chicken, the refrigerator and freezer, along with the ovens used to bake the pizza. After the tour, each child had the opportunity to make their own mini pizza. Once it came rolling through the ovens they got to enjoy their creation. They all agreed that the best part was "feasting" on their pizza! THANKS again, Schuyler and Kim for a fun time!
