Letter Perfect Holiday Feast
TK held our 3rd Annual Letter-Perfect Holiday Feast on Wednesday, November 24th!
We loved our parents being our special guests as we had our Letter-Perfect Potluck. Each family was assigned a letter and asked to bring a dish to share with the class that begins with that letter. Each family was asked to send the recipe with their child so we could make a class cookbook. When the cookbook is completed, each child will have a turn to take it home to share with their family.
We spent November learning about table manners, setting a table, sharing things we are thankful for, singing holiday songs, and, of course, letters! At our feast, the students wore their special turkey headbands, acted out the book "Turkey Trouble", sang four Thanksgiving songs, and finished by telling what they are thankful for.
Then it was time to eat! All of the different dishes were delicious, not to mention creative! Our feast was a success, and I look forward to having it again next year!
