DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills)
During the week of January 9-13 and 16 & 17, we will be doing DIBELS testing. DIBELS is an educational literacy test for kindergarten through third grade. Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills measure basic pre-reading skills that lead to fluent decoding, word-level reading, and connected-text reading, all of which are necessary for reading comprehension. DIBELS measure emerging reading skills and are often used to measure instructional interventions and progress.
