On August 17, 1990, Toby and Jill L. were blessed with their
second daughter, Jaimee Lynn L.. Jaimee has one older sister Jessie
and one cat Melendie.
During high school Jaimee has been involved in many different activities. She has been in softball, track, International Club, volleyball, stage crew, mock trial, quiz bowl, and choir. She has been a wrestling and football manager, and the freshman vice president. When Jaimee’s not busy with her many activities, she attends United Methodist Church, and she works at Doris Doty’s in Rock Rapids. Jaimee has a busy class schedule. She is taking government, work study, Spanish IV, accounting, single survival, choir, advanced math, grammar, social psychology, and foundations of education. Jaimee has also been on the high honor roll and the honor roll in her high school career.
Jaimee’s favorite movies are “Mean Girls” and “Now and Then.” She likes to listen to any type of music, and she likes to read anything by Sarah Dessen. Jaimee likes to eat chicken and French toast and likes the color purple. Her favorite subjects are health and anything with Mrs. Sheldon. She also likes to watch the TV shows “One Tree Hill” and “That 70’s Show.” Her most memorable high school moments are every football game and going on the Mexico trip.
Jaimee’s future plans are to attend a four-year college. In ten years she sees herself working at a job she loves and married with a kid or two. Her words of wisdom to the underclassmen are, “Have fun! And don’t worry so much; high school goes too fast.” If Jaimee could spend one day with anyone, it would be her great-grandparents because she never got a chance to know them.
