On March 13, 1991, Dan and Sue H. were blessed with their youngest child, Michael. Michael has an older brother Reuben and an older sister Christina.
This year Michael is taking band, physics, calculus, Spanish IV, single survival, speech, grammar, psychology, and government. During high school Michael has been involved in basketball, band, jazz band, cross country, track, and Quiz Bowl. He also attends the First Reformed Church and works at Sunshine Foods.
Michael’s favorite movie is “Crash.” His favorite color is black. He enjoys listening to hardcore music, reading “Life of Pi,” watching the TV show “Reno 911,” and eating Lebanese food. His most memorable high school moments are all sporting and music competitions at the state level.
Michael’s future plans are attending the University of Minnesota for mortuary science or another school for missions. In ten years Michael sees himself working in a morgue, funeral home, or in a foreign country. If Michael could spend one day with someone living or dead, it would be his brother Reuben because they can do pretty much anything together, and “it is always a sweet time.” Michael’s words of wisdom to the underclassmen are, “Don’t worry, be happy, and stay single.” Michael will do great things in the future, and we wish him the best of luck!
