On May 30, 1991, Joanne and A.J. M. became the proud parents of a new baby boy, Caleb John. He was also welcomed by two older siblings, a brother James and a sister Cassie. He also now has a sister-in-law Cori, a nephew Cameron, a cat named Socks, and a dog named Sandi.
Caleb has stayed busy throughout high school. He has been in basketball, band, Student Council, FFA, and football. He has also been an FFA officer and a captain on the football team, along with being a member of CYO. His academic schedule has been full throughout his senior year, with band, American literature, P.E., ag. business, single survival, CAD, and industrial tech.
Caleb likes the movie “Step Brothers” and the book “Shooter.” His favorite color is red, and he enjoys listening to any kind of music. His favorite food is pizza, and he likes the TV show “Drake and Josh.” His favorite school subjects are P.E. and agriculture.
In the future, Caleb plans to go to college, and in ten years he sees himself close to retirement. His most memorable high school experience was beating Estherville-Lincoln Central in overtime during the 07-08 football playoffs. Caleb’s words of wisdom to the underclassmen are, “High school is one of those things that you get out what you put in. I guess what I mean is do your own thing. I put in what I needed to and had a blast doing it.”
If he could spend a day with anyone, Caleb would choose his Grandpa M. because he was never in very good health during the years Caleb remembers him.
Good luck in the future, Caleb.
