Cory K. was born on January 8, 1987, to
his parents, Ken and Lois. He has two older brothers, Chad
and Chris, and an older sister Trisha.
Cory has had a very active high school career participating in football, basketball, baseball, and track for four years. He has been in FFA and band for two years and was the class vice-president his freshman year. He is also the president of his church youth group LYC. Subjects that Cory is taking this year are band, business marketing, calculus, grammar, single's survival, chemistry, and psychology.
Cory's favorite movie is 40 Year Old Virgin, and his favorite television show is Friends. His favorite types of music are rap and country. His favorite book is One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Some other favorites include the color blue, the subject P.E., and the food steak.
Cory's plans are going to a four-year college at either UNI or Iowa University for real estate or banking (CPA). In ten years, Cory hopes to be married to a good-looking wife with a few youngsters and living in a luxurious city making millions.
Cory's most memorable high school moment was beating West Lyon 15-`4 at West Lyon his junior year. His words of advice to the underclassmen are "be cool, stay in school." If he could spend one day with someone, it would be Dave Chapelle because he is one of the funniest people ever.
In his class, Cory was voted class flirt, best dancer, most athletic, and most school spirit. He was a state track participant his sophomore year. His junior year he received the honors of All-Conference Honorable Mention in basketball, unanimous first team All-Conference in baseball, and second team All-District for baseball.
