Life is too short for you not to enjoy it.” These are Jessa M.’s
words to live by, and she does just that. Jessa, the oldest
daughter born to Rhonda and Laine, was born on November 18, 1987.
She has one sister Josie and a dog Rupert.
Jessa is a busy person: she participates in band, choir, jazz band, large group speech, individual speech, mock trial, cross country, track, flags, and dance team. She is also a wrestling manager and the student council vice president. Jessa was honored by being selected to the National Honor Society and Girls State.
Besides all the ‘extras’ Jessa is involved in, she is also a busy student, taking
band, p.e., sociology, government, Novel II, grammar, art, child development, chorus, speech, psychology, and journalism. During the little free time Jessa has, she likes to watch her favorite movies Hercules and Forest Gump or her favorite TV Show Matlock. She enjoys listening to ACDC or the radio, reading Kite Flyer and eating peanut butter.
Central Lyon’s homecoming queen is employed at Frontier Bank and the swimming pool.
When Jessa reflects on her high school years, she has the fond memory of taking geometry with her cousin Nikki. Jessa feels it is important to spend time with her friends and family because you never know how much time you will have with them.
After graduating Jessa wants to attend college and enjoy every minute of it. In ten years, she hopes to be traveling the world. If Jessa could spend one day with someone she would choose Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley because they are two of the greatest singers that have ever lived, and they have seen so much. Jessa has been a great contributor to Central Lyon, and she will continue to do the same at whatever college she chooses.
