Randy and Denise joyfully welcomed their first baby girl into the world on August 3, 1987. Danielle Roze has one older brother Matt and a younger sister Jackie. This top-of-the-class girl plans to attend pharmacy school to get her Pharm D this upcoming fall.
Dani has shown her natural leadership skills in many ways throughout high school. Her resume of activities includes volleyball, International Club, golf, musical stage crew and stage crew manager, T.A.T.U., boys’ basketball manager, journalism editor, student council treasurer, band, jazz band, and flag corps. She also accompanied the jazz choir and musical cast by playing the trap set.
Of course, with the personality she has, Dani shares her gifts at school, but also in her community. This past summer, Dani volunteered at Premier Estates and also worked at the pool, Intermission, and Lewis Family Drug. She has also coached AAU volleyball during three years of high school.
Dani’s workload for her senior year reflects her work ethic. She is taking band, business marketing, Spanish IV, calculus, single’s survival, physics, grammar, journalism, government, and psychology. However, even with her crowded schedule, she still finds time to watch her favorite movies The Notebook and Goldmember or her favorite TV show One Tree Hill. Dani loves all kinds of music, the color orange, and the food orange chicken. Two of her favorite books are The Da Vinci Code, and Tuesdays with Morrie. Fittingly, her favorite subject is journalism.
In ten years, Dani plans to be married with one kid and working as a pharmacist. Dani will also be thinking back to high school and remembering her Cancun trip as a most memorable moment. Her words of wisdom for underclassmen are, “Be yourself no matter what because you’re the one who has to live with yourself at the end of the day.”
If Dani could spend one day with someone, it would be her grandma because she was such a nice and giving person. Because she passed away when Dani was seven, Dani doesn’t have many memories of her.
Dani has also received many honors this year. She was Student of the Month and received Academic All-State recognition for volleyball. Just recently, Dani became the newest member of the Argus Leader’s Academic All-Star Team. This achievement, along with all the others, is well deserved. Thanks for all your leadership here at Central Lyon, Dani, and good luck to you!
