The world became a much livelier place on September 22, 1987, when Andrew David was born to Ron and Michelle. Andrew has an older brother Dan, a dog named Lucky, and a cat. Andrew’s classmates usually refer to him as “Stew.”
Andrew stays busy both in school and outside of school with a full load of classes and many extracurricular and community activities. Andrew’s classes include band, calculus, physics, business law, Spanish IV, Novel II, grammar, government, and psychology. His extracurricular activities include athletics, music, and academic organizations. His athletic activities are football, wrestling, track, and baseball. He is also involved in quiz bowl, mock trial, band, jazz band, marching band, and pep band. Andrew keeps active in his community by participating in LYC at the Peace Lutheran Church.
When he is not busy with school and other activities, Andrew enjoys watching the movie Van Wilder and the television show The O.C. He also likes to listen to punk music, read the book Friday Night Lights, and eat Chinese food. During the school day he is happiest when he is in his Novel II class. Andrew’s favorite color is green.
In the future, Andrew hopes to attend either the University of Iowa or the University of Michigan. He then wants to go to med school. In ten years he sees himself finishing up his internships and starting a family.
Andrew hopes his most memorable high school moment is still coming. His words of wisdom to the underclassmen are, “Don’t take life too seriously, or you’ll never get out of line.” He also says, “Worrying is like a rocking chair; it gives you something to do but it doesn’t get you anywhere.”
