Matt entered the world on October 27,
1987. His parents are Stan and Sue. Matt, however, is not an only
child. He is the oldest of seven children.
Besides his busy home life, Matt also keeps himself busy in school. The classes that he is taking this year are band, choir, sociology, calculus, physics, speech, government, and grammar. Other activities that Matt has participated in are basketball, track, freshmen and junior class president, International Club, choir, jazz choir, band, jazz band, NHS, and solo-ensemble contest for vocal and band. Outside of school Matt participates in his church’s youth group and is in 4-H.
Matt has many interests that include music of all kinds, the color silver, and steak. He also likes the class shop and the book One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Matt’s favorite high school memory will be when he graduates. He would also like the underclassmen to know, “Don’t let high school stress you out, it isn’t healthy.”
In the future Matt plans to go to either Southeast Tech or SDSU for Civil Engineering. In ten years, he plans to be married and maybe have children. I’m sure that this class leader will have many bright things in the future.
