Jungle Book Tales

Central Lyon first and second grade students attended a short play at Northwestern College on Thursday, October 8, 2009.  Jungle Book Tales was adapted for the stage from the first two Mowgli stories of Rudyard Kipling's 1886 children's classic Jungle Book.

The students enjoyed a short bus ride to Orange City and eating their sack lunches with their friends.  After lunch, we were seated in the Black Box Theatre for the production.  The children had a wonderful time at the play.  The monkeys, Hic, Hike, and Hoke stole the show with their funny antics.  Special thanks to Central Lyon School for allowing us to attend this event.
