AP Spanish

AP Spanish is an advanced level class in which the students hone their Spanish skills by only speaking in Spanish.  They read and discuss some literature: short stories, poems, articles and plays, write essays and present projects to the class.  The students also spend time practicing the different parts of the AP Spanish Language exam that they will take in May. The students must receive a score of 3, 4 or 5 to pass the test.  Five is the best possible score.  By passing this exam, the students will have the possibility of earning college credits.  Each college has different criteria for this, so it is best to talk with the admissions counselor.
