On July 22, 1989, Hannah
Marie Drewes was greeted into the world by her parents, George and
DeAnn, and her brothers, Josh and Dusty. Hannah is happy to
be blessed with her two cats Ashes and Lizzie, ferret Snickers, two
hamsters Suzy and Gadget, and two fish Fatsy and Fleb.
Hannah has used her leadership skills in the variety of activities she is involved in. She has been on Student Council for two years, secretary her junior year and president her senior year. She is presently involved with quiz bowl, bowling, international club, large group speech, individual speech, and TATU. She is the secretary for the National Honor Society. She is involved musically as well being in band, jazz band, choir, jazz choir, and swing choir. Hannah has participated in the fall musicals for all four years.
Hannah is not only involved in school activities, but also activities in the community and her church as well. She has been involved in Girl Scouts for twelve years. She has performed in numerous River Valley Players Performances and Missoula Children’s Theatre. She is involved in committees and participates in worship services at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. She also attends its youth group, Luther League. Hannah also works at the Frontier Bank.
Hannah holds a busy class schedule this year. She is taking band, physics, Spanish IIII, calculus, psychology, grammar, chorus, Journalism I and II, government, and single survival.
Hannah loves Disney movies, especially “Lion King” and “Brother Bear.” Hannah enjoys listening to Christian rock and Contemporary Christian music. Hannah’s favorite color is orange. Hannah loves anything sweet, especially chocolate and cotton candy and smarties. Hannah’s favorite subjects in school are band and chorus, and her favorite t.v. show is “Gilmore Girls.” Hannah also loves animals and loves to laugh.
In ten years, Hannah sees herself living happily with a family, lots of pets, and a career that she likes to do. Hannah plans to attend a four-year college close to home. Hannah’s most memorable high school moments were being a part of the fall musicals and going on the Florida trip for band and chorus.
Hannah has received numerous honors throughout her four years at Central Lyon. She has been on the high honor roll all four years, NHS, Student of the Month, and National Honor Roll. Hannah has also received I rating on her vocal solo last year and has received I ratings at speech competitions, state and district. Hannah was voted Most Musical, Class Leader, and Next Bill Gates, as well.
When asked if she could spend a day with someone, who it would be and why, she replied, “Jesus because He is my Savior and I would like to be more like Him.” Hannah’s words of wisdom to the underclassman are “Try to laugh at everything, even tough situations; it makes your life brighter and more fun.”
