Throughout Matt’s high school career, he has been involved in cross country, track, basketball, quiz bowl, NHS, student council, and the sophomore class president, and is a member of the United Methodist Church. This year, his classes are: band, physics, Spanish IV, government, calculus, choir, sociology, grammar, and PE.
Matt enjoys listening to Christian Rock, and his favorite book is Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. His favorite Movie is Star Wars, and he loves to watch the T.V. shows House, M.D., and Boston Legal. He likes the color blue, and the subjects math and band. Also, his favorite food is Pizza. His future plans include attending college, and majoring in math. In ten years, he sees himself working, and married with kids. Matt’s hard work has paid off by him being a 2-year NHS member, a 4-year high honor roll student, and lettering in cross country. If Matt could spend one day with someone, living or dead, he chose, “Jesus Christ, because he died for us on the cross.”
His most memorable high school moment was getting twice the food at lunch, but paying less. His advice to underclassmen is, “Be in all of the activities you can be, people love to see involvement.”
