Corey Dale DeBey was born on July 24,
1989, to Roger and Lisa DeBey. He has an older sister, Heather, a
younger brother, Jarod, and two dogs, Kia and Brownie.
Corey has been a standout athlete throughout high school. He has been involved in football, basketball, baseball, and track every year of high school. Corey earned All-District honors in football his junior year and is a captain on this year’s team.
Corey, an honor roll student, is taking the following classes: advanced math, psychology, business marketing, p.e., speech, single survival, choir, natural resources, and grammar. Corey was awarded Best Dancer in this year’s best of class. He also attends Sr. RCYF at the First Reformed Church.
Corey’s favorite movie is The Longest Yard and he likes any kind of music. His number one color is black and his most liked book is Of Mice and Men. The food he loves to eat is chicken alfredo, the school subject he likes best is health, and his favorite television show is Family Guy.
Next year he plans to attend a four year college, and, in ten years, he hopes to be married with children. His most memorable high school moment was winning the 2006 football state championship.
The one person Corey would want to spend a day with would be Vince Lombardi “because he’s the greatest football coach to ever live.” As his words of wisdom to underclassman, Corey says, “Make the most out of high school because it goes by fast.”
