T.J. Loger was born on May 5, 1989 to
parents Todd and Pat. Other members of his family include a
younger brother, Trent and pet dog, Taz.
As a senior this year T.J. has been very successful. He was on the Homecoming court and was October’s Student of the Month. Dedicated and determined, T.J. Loger is a strong leader and worker who excel in all of his activities, especially FFA. As the president of the CL FFA chapter, T.J. has helped organize farm and home safety camps and several activities for the county fair. Not only is T.J. active in FFA but he also lettered in the Central Lyon football team which won a state title this past year. While school is in session T.J. can be found in the following classes: metals, shop, CAD, work study, natural resources, government, and speech. Apart from school activities T.J. is a member of First Reformed Church and is in Senior RCYF.
When T.J. has some time to relax he enjoys watching the movie Joe Dirt and the T.V. show King of Queens, but when he is in school his favorite class is shop. His favorite book is the Bernstein Bears and he likes to listen to rock and country music. His other favorites include the color chrome and steak. His most memorable high school moment was racing with Nick Beyenhoff when Nick passed twenty cars throughout the race and still won.
This hardworking, successful student’s advice to freshman is “Be cool, stay in school”. In fact, T.J. plans to do just that since his future plans are to attend a Vo Ag school before farming. In ten years T.J. sees himself back in Rock Rapids.
