Mike and Sue Roetman were blessed with their first bundle of joy on June 4, 1989, Jennifer Lea Roetman.  She later greeted Jessica, who is now a sixth grader, into the world.
Jenn has been involved with an all-school play, mime in large group speech, International Club, T.A.T.U., and dance team.  She has also been basketball cheerleader for two years and was co-captain this year.
Jenn has benefited the musical department of Central Lyon.  She is involved with band, jazz band, choir, women’s jazz choir, and swing choir.  She has participated in musicals all four years.  She has also been involved with River Valley Player Musicals for two years.
She has added to her busy schedule of activities by taking band, choir, physics, web master, calculus, psychology, grammar, social psychology, speech, drawing III, and government.  Jenn has been on the high honor roll and honor roll all four years.  Jenn was voted Most Creative and elected into the National Honor Society this year.
Jenn enjoys watching the movie Napolean Dynamite and the television shows Gilmore Girls and Supernatural.  She also enjoys rainy days and snow! She loves to listen to Jazz and Oldies music, to read any book by Meg Cabb, and to eat cheesy mashed potatoes.  Jenn also loves the color blue, any class with Mr. Docker, and biology.
Jenn’s future plans are to go to college, get a good job, get her hair cut, and finish reading the Bible.  She sees herself living in some kind of home jamming out to some music in ten years.  Her most memorable high school moment was playing in the Central Lyon “traveling pep band.”
When told she could spend one day with anyone (living or dead), Jenn decided that she would want to spend the day with Kenny G.  Jenn says, “He is a REALLY good saxophone player.”  Jenn’s words of wisdom to the underclassmen are, “Get involved and don’t care what others think.”
