On June 10, 1988, the world was graced
with the birth of Angela Marie Schleusner. The rest of
Angie’s family included her parents, Jeff Schleusner and Mimi
Schleusner; her siblings, Mary and Cole; and the late Mr.
Angie has been very active in extracurricular activates throughout her high school career. She has been in track, volleyball, basketball, and softball. She is also active in the arts as well. She has participated in choir, jazz choir, swing choir, band, flags, and dance team. National Honor Society, International club, and UMYF at the United Methodist Church are also activities of hers.
Not only does Angie have a busy after-school schedule, but she also has a very demanding class lineup. She is taking physics, p.e., government, calculus, band, choir, social psychology, grammar, and speech.
In her free time, Angie can be found watching the movie The Green Mile or the TV shows “Laguna Beach,” “2-a-days,” or “The Hills,” listening to country music, or reading the book Kite Runner. Other favorites of hers include green and Lucky Charms.
Next year Angie plans to attend Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids, IA, for nursing. A few years after college, Angie sees herself settled down with a stable job and a wonderful family.
Angie’s words of wisdom to the underclassmen are, “Never be afraid of going against the crowd, and make sure to voice your opinion.”
Angela’s outstanding performance in school, and her involvement in extracurricular activities and the community make her a very well-rounded young lady.
