On December 23, 1989, Coreen and Dale
Klarenbeek welcomed Jennifer Marie Klarenbeek into the world.
Jennifer lives with her parents, her brother Tyler, and her pets,
which consists of “a bunch of cats”.
Jennifer has been involved in a myriad of activities during her Central Lyon high school career. She has involved in T.A.T.U., band, choir, flag corps, Jazz Band I and II, women’s jazz choir, swing choir, fall musicals, international club, and was also the basketball manager. Outside of school, she attends Sr. RCYF at the First Reformed Church in Rock Rapids, where she also is a member of the girl’s league.
Some of the classes that this senior is taking this year include band, calculus, government, physics, web page design, single survival, grammar, choir, psychology, and Painting I. Her favorite movie is Finding Nemo and listens to pretty much any music except country. Blue tops the list of her favorite colors and she likes the book Among the Hidden, and the subjects band and art. Her favorite foods are pizza and ice cream.
Jennifer’s future plans include going to a four year college and in ten years she sees herself maybe married with a family, with a good job. Looking back on her high school career, her most memorable moment was going to Disney World with the band and choir. If she could spend one day with anyone, she would spend it with her grandma, because she could give her a lot of good advice.
Although Jennifer was voted most quiet among her peers, she has offered some wise words to the underclassmen—“Try something new, and just have fun.” This senior’s helpful attitude and good work ethics will be sure to pay off after high school
