MS Band Tailgate Supper: A SUCCESS!

A BIG thank you goes out to everyone who came out and supported the Middle School Band Tailgate Supper on Tuesday night. We had so many supporters that we ran out of hot dogs and most of our other food!
I would especially like to thank all the parents and students who volunteered their time to help serve during the supper. Without your help, the supper would not have been such a huge success. A big think you to Yvette Waagmeester for heading up the preparations for the supper.
I know most of you are wondering how much did we raise...?
At the supper, we raised over $1,700!!! This money, on top of our wonderful community donations means the band is well on their way to new marching uniforms.
Unfortunately, new marching band uniforms are a huge expense. We will probably not have the uniforms for next year's band, but there is still hope for the following year!
Thank you again to everyone for their support and donations. Look for another fundraiser coming this Spring.
