On Oct.10, 1989, a wonderful girl by the name of Laura Molitor, was born. Her family includes her parents Bob and Carol, her brothers Tim and Greg, and her sister Madie. She also has a dog named Keegan.
One might find this high school student in many activities. She has been a very athletic student as she has been involved as a football cheerleader for one year, a basketball cheerleader for four years, track for one year, and dance team for two years. She has also been very active in the fine-arts as she has been involved in band, choir, plays, musicals, swing choir, jazz band II, and jazz choir. Laura is also a member of the International Club. Laura is busy in the community as well. She currently works at Pizza Ranch and is a member of Sr. RCYF at First Reformed Church in Rock Rapids.
This year Laura’s schedule includes band, math, government, Spanish II, speech, accounting, and chorus. After her hard day at school, you might find Laura reading her favorite book Even Now, watching her favorite movie A Walk to Remember, or listening to Christian music. Her other favorites include the color blue, the food pizza, TV show CSI: Miami, and her favorite classes are government and choir.
After Laura graduates, she plans on attending either Kirkwood College or Iowa Central College and majoring in social work or human services. In ten years, Laura sees herself graduated from college, having a good job, and getting married.
If Laura could spend one day with someone it would be her biological mother because she has never met her and would like to meet her and ask her questions.
Laura’s most memorable high school moment was going to the Dome and being state champs. As Laura leaves Central Lyon, her words of advice to underclassmen is “work hard and make the most out of your high school years.”
