Jaime Rae Parkinson was born on June 15, 1990, to Jeff and Karen.  Jaime has two pets, a cockatiel bird named Saffron and a cat named Lucy.
Jaime is involved in a variety of school activities.  Her music activities include choir, band, flag corps, Jazz Band I and II, jazz choir, women’s jazz choir, swing choir, musicals, and plays.  Jaime’s sports include volleyball and softball.  Her other activities in school are large group speech, individual speech, T.A.T.U., TAP, International Club and NHS.  Jaime also has a busy class schedule with band, choir, calculus, government, web page design, single survival, psychology, work study, and grammar.  Jaime’s community activities include 4-H, 4-H County Council, and UMYF at the United Methodist Church.  Some awards Jaime has received are All-state large group speech, high honor roll, national honor roll, whose who among high school students, and NHS.
When Jaime has time to relax she likes to watch Cheaper by the Dozen or I Love Lucy.  Her favorite book is The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and she loves eating chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. Her favorite music genre is anything but rap.  Her other favorites are the color pink, band or choir, swimming, ice skating, and being with friends.
When Jaime graduates she plans to attend a four year college for music education or elementary education.  In ten years she sees herself with a good job, married, and have a child.
When it comes to Jaime’s most memorable moment in high school she said it was going on the Florida trip.  Her words of wisdom to the underclassmen are, “There are so many activities high school has to offer, don’t be afraid to try them.”  If Jaime could spend one day with anyone dead or living would be Lucille Ball because she was a great comedian and actress, “I would have loved to meet her in person.”
