Sabrina Mae Sieperda was welcomed to the world on March 23, 1989, by her parents, Amy and Scott. Sabrina also has two younger siblings: Hunter, a freshman at Central Lyon and Ivy, 10 years old.
If you want to meet an active student at Central Lyon, try to get to know Sabrina. She is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, softball, NHS, choir, dance team, the Leadership Committee, and the School Improvement Advisory Committee. Outside of school, she attends Sr. RCYF of the First Reformed Church and Girls’ League. She is employed by Hope Haven as a respite provider as well. For best of class, she was voted best legs, best sportsmanship, and most athletic; she was also on the 2007 Homecoming Court. The honors she has received in high school are Honorable Mention (sophomore year) and 2nd Team All-Conference (junior year) for basketball and 2nd Team All-Conference (sophomore year) and 1st Team All-Conference (junior year) for softball.
Sabrina’s courses this year are grammar, advanced math, psychology, physical education, single survival, accounting, and chemistry.  Some of her favorites include the movie Finding Nemo, country music, the color yellow, the book She Said Yes, the subjects PE and lunch, and the restaurant Granite City. When asked her favorite food she says, “Any food makes me happy.”
Although Sabrina keeps herself busy, she still finds time to have fun. Her most memorable moment in high school is winning the one and only game her sophomore year in basketball against HMS. If Sabrina could spend one day with someone, she would choose former Twins player, Doug Mientkiewicz, because she has been in love with him since middle school and she thinks he is hot
Sabrina’s future plans are to attend a four year college and stay active in sports. Within the next ten years she want to get married, have a pretty wedding, have three kids, a good job, and stay active. Her words of wisdom to underclassmen are to stick up for yourself and don’t let little things ruin your high school days. As you can tell, not many things have gotten in the way from stopping Sabrina from being successful, and it will take a lot to stop her in the years to come.
