Maps, Maps, Maps!

The first graders are learning about maps. We've been studying the United States map, and we can locate Iowa, as well as many of the other fifty states.
We've also been exploring the map of Iowa. It's been fun to find our state capital, and many familiar towns in northwest Iowa. Our biggest challenge has been to distinguish between cities and states.
The students love working with maps. Get out your maps and explore!
