Go The Distance Day 2010

Go The Distance Day (GTDD) is a one-day event for Iowa schools to engage students in 30 minutes of continuous activity. The mission of GTDD shows Iowa youth that physical activity is fun and healthy! The program increases public awareness of youth physical inactivity, and the need for physical education programs and recess in our schools.
This will be our 3rd year participating in GTDD here at the school. Students in grades K-8th will all go on a fun walk starting from the elementary doors, down around the activity center, and finish back at the elementary doors. This is a great way for students to get outside and get some physical activity. The walk will begin at 2:30pm on Friday May 7th. Anyone is welcome to come and participate in this event!
