Christmas Challenge

Students in TK through 5th grade were challenged to each bring in an average of at least three non-perishable items for the Christmas tree in front of the elementary office.  These items would then be donated to Mid-Sioux and ATLAS in Rock Rapids.

Our goal is to collect an average of 150 items per grade level by Thursday, December 15th.  The classes, who meet their goal, will be allowed to wear their pajamas to school, have a popcorn party, and watch a movie on Monday, December 19th.

Several classes have already met their goal, and are working toward an even bigger goal!  The kids are very excited to be able to help out, and we felt like this was a great opportunity for the students to give to others during this Christmas season.

A list of items that are needed are posted below.  Mid-Sioux and ATLAS have indicated that these items are high priority items and are often in need.

Check back later to see some of the pictures of the kids with the items that they collected.
