Spook-tacular Halloween Party
The second grade students had their Halloween party on Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Special thanks to Katie Korthals for organizing our party this year. Kristin Vande Kop, Lisa Warntjes and Deb Selken provided the drink, snacks, and prizes for the party. Tami Murray and Brooke Konechne were in charge of the games/stations for the kids. The students had fun making slime with glue, Borax, water, and food coloring. The table was decorated with a moving hand and fog. While some kids were making slime, other students were participating in a relay race. The kids had to dress quickly in a Halloween costume and run to a designated spot in the room and back. The kids had fun helping each other into the costumes. Our foster grandma, Claretta, even got in on the action. The students enjoyed decorating cupcakes with frosting and candy corn for their snack. Special thanks to all of the parents who helped make the day so much fun for everyone. The kids had a spook-tacular time!
