Jackie Snyders was welcomed into the world September 25, 1993, by her parents Denise and Randy and her two siblings Matt and Dani.
Now that she’s in high school, Jackie has been very active by participating in activities such as, volleyball, jazz band, flag corps, stage crew, golf, Student Council, and International Club. She has also been the boys basketball manager and is currently the Student Council vice president. Outside of school she has been active in CYO in her church.
As a senior Jackie has a full schedule consisting of physics, human anatomy/physiology, AP Spanish, AP calculus, government, grammar, single survival, and micro economics, Math and science are her favorite subjects.
Some of Jackie’s other favorites are the movie “Bridesmaids” and “Horrible Bosses,” the color pink, the TV shows “30 Rock “and “Saturday Night Live,” the books of the “Twilight” series, and music by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars.
Jackie has been honored for her hard work by being a member of National Honor Society, attending HOBY, a youth leadership conference, and being on homecoming court. Jackie’s most memorable high school moment was winning fourth place at state jazz band.
Jackie was asked if she could spend one day with someone who would it be and why. Jackie chose two people. First, Jackie chose Lady Gaga because she is so different, talented, and influential. Her second choice was her Grandmother Ruth because Jackie never got to spend time with her, and from stories Jackie has heard, she wished she had the chance to get to know her.
“Be yourself and work hard; it will pay off,” Jackie stated as her words of advice to underclassman. Jackie sees herself working hard as a pharmacist in ten years. Best of luck in the future, Jackie!
