Buddy Reading

Shelby and Leah reading.

The students are becoming good readers. Buddy reading is just one tool used in the classroom to help them build their skills. It gives them time to work together and help one another. It gives them the opportunity to become a more fluent reader. They often hear may say, "Practice your story so your reading sounds like you are talking.
