Dalton Ver Beek

Story image 1_0

March thirty first, nineteen ninety four, in Rock Rapids, Dalton Robert was born the third child of Tim and Becky Ver Beek. Dalton has had a growing love for athletics, resulting in an active world of sports during high school. Not only has Dalton been voted Most School Spirit within the senior class, but he has been in football for four years, basketball for three, and track and baseball for two years. When he’s not thinking about football, he uses his time to manage his tough classes in school including human anatomy, government, grammar and novel.

Dalton loves extra time to hang out with friends at Buffalo Wild Wings, or in his black and yellow painted mancave, watching countless seasons of “How I Met Your Mother,” and “Vampire Diaries.” He’s always up for a sappy movie like “The Notebook” or good ol’ country music.

Looking back within the past four years, Dalton’s most memorable moment was unquestionably the 2011 Beef Bowl against West Lyon, winning 16-14. In the next year to come, he hopes to see himself at Montana State for Wildlife Management, and urging his way to working at a park in Montana in ten years.
If Dalton could spend a day with anyone possible, he’d choose web-sensation comedian, Jenna Marbles, because she is “sooooo funny!” Lastly, as a piece of advice for underclassmen, “Don’t be fake to impress people; be yourself.”
