Hailey was born on March 11, 1996, to parents Cal and Cheryl Mans. She has three brothers: Josh, Nick, and Tanner. Hailey loves anything country, especially if itâÂÂs music. She loves watching the movie âÂÂ42â and the television show âÂÂDuck Dynasty.â Her favorite book is âÂÂThe Notebookâ by Nicholas Sparks. HaileyâÂÂs favorite meal is chicken alfredo.
Hailey is very involved with her community. She is involved in junior and senior RCYF, Girlsâ League, and bible school. She also spends her time babysitting and working at Lewis Family Drug. She was employed at Sunshine for three years.
For her senior year at Central Lyon, Hailey is taking the following classes: economics, choir, work study, single survival, foundations of education, public speaking, Composition I, psychology, government, and grammar. She has also been busy with several extracurricular activities including TATU, volleyball (as the manager), musicals, and International Club. Hailey says her most memorable high school moment was when the CL girlsâ basketball team won the state championship.
In the future, Hailey plans to go to college, most likely at USF for elementary education. She hopes to find a good job teaching first or second graders. Later on, she plans to get married and have a few kids, while living in either a small town or out in the country.
If Hailey could spend one day with anyone she wanted, it would be her grandma, Jessie, who died when she was only two years old. Her brothers always tell her stories about their grandma and all she has seen of her were pictures.
To underclassmen, Hailey says, âÂÂBe on top of things, really push yourself, it pays off it in the end!âÂÂ
