Claire Snyder was born on October 1, 1995, to her parents Dan and Rhona. She has a brother Cole and a sister Carly. Hodge and Sash are her dogs, and Jersey is her new kitten. Claire loves to watch “Mean Girls” and “Dance Moms.” Her favorite color is yellow and her two favorite foods are pasta and any form of a potato. In her spare time, Claire likes to read “Handle with Care” by Jodi Picoult. She likes to listen to any kind of music she can sing to, and her favorite school subjects are science and Spanish.

During the school year, Claire is very busy. She is involved in student council, NHS, International Club, TATU, track, volleyball, basketball, large group speech, choir, swing choir, and jazz choir. Claire is currently class treasurer, president of student council, and the homecoming queen. Claire is also busy outside of school. She works as a lifeguard and babysitter, and also volunteers for Sunday school, Bible school, and youth group at the First Reformed Church. The subjects Claire is taking her senior year are AP Spanish, choir, western civilizations, calculus, government, grammar, anatomy, economics, and work study. Going to state for volleyball has been her most memorable high school moment.

Claire’s future plans include attending a four-year university to major in nursing and minor in Spanish. In ten years, she sees herself married with a kid or two. If she could spend time with anyone, living or dead, it would be Melissa McCarthy or Rebel Wilson because they are hilarious. Her advice to underclassmen is to be who you are and do what you love.
