Brady “Spike” Spykerboer was born on November 26, 1995, to parents Paula and Kevin Spykerboer. Brady has a brother Kyler and a coon dog Molly. His favorite movie is “8 Seconds” and his favorite TV show is “Alaska: Last Frontier.” “Where the Red Fern Grows” is Brady’s favorite book. He likes the color blue and listening to country music. Spike loves eating ramen noodles and participating in FFA.
Throughout high school, Brady has been very active in FFA. He participated in football for two years and was class president his freshman year. This year Brady is taking the following classes: economics, government, basic writing, agricultural business, metal fabrication, and Applied Woods IV. Spike’s most memorable moment in high school was when he painted his stomach green with Colby Van Hill for a football game.
In ten years Brady sees himself farming or working on a ranch. This is also what he plans to do after high school. If he could spend one day with anyone, it would be John Wayne to ride horses and move cows with him. In regards to underclassmen, Brady says, “Never give up and respect your elders.”
