Marcus Haselhoff was born Nov. 1, 1995, to parents Dennis and Stacie Haselhoff. He also has two brothers, Mitchell and Grant, and a dog, Colt.
In his spare time Marcus likes to watch “SportsCenter” and the movie “Hoosiers.” Marcus’ favorite color is orange, place to eat is Buffalo Wild Wings, and book is “The Mark of Athena.”
This year Marcus is taking the following classes: band, AP Biology, government, AP Calculus, physics, senior grammar, and economics. Marcus clearly enjoys science and math. Marcus is also currently in several extracurricular activities, including: basketball, baseball, robotics, quiz bowl, NHS, band, and jazz band. He stays busy outside of school by working at Pizza Ranch and maintaining his position at the Catholic Church as CYO.
After high school Marcus plans to go to South Dakota State University and major in civil engineering. He plans to be living in a big city and working for an engineering company ten years into the future.
His most memorable moment in high school was at the district robotics competition in Des Moines when his team realized they would be going to the state robotics competition.
In regards to underclassmen, Marcus says, “Push yourself and have good time management.”
