Nic Lutmer was born on August 8, 1996, to Mark and Dana Lutmer. He has a twin sister Mackenzie and a brother Zach. If he could spend one day with anyone it would have to be Jesus, because he has many questions about why things happen the way they do.
Nic has been in basketball, football, track and baseball for three years and lettered in all of them. He was the class president for two years and has been in choir for three. During his senior year Nic is taking human anatomy, physiology, calculus, Spanish 4, sociology, college composition, economics, and government.
Nic’s most memorable moment from high school was when the girls won state basketball. During Nic’s high school career he has been on honor roll all three years. For sports he made All Conference in basketball and baseball, along with being a state qualifier in track. He also made All District in football.
Outside of school Nic is involved with the Holy Name Catholic Church in Rock Rapids, IA, through which he served at the St. Francis homeless shelter in Sioux Falls, SD. He listens to rap, country, and pop music. Nic likes the color orange. He also loves honey barbeque and parmesan garlic wings at Buffalo Wild Wings. He enjoys watching “Jersey Shore” on MTV. Nic’s favorite sport teams are the Minnesota Gophers, St. Louis Cardinals, MN Vikings, and the Boston Celtics.
In his future Nic want to major in criminal justice and minor in Spanish, sociology and psychology. After college he is going to take his chances at becoming a FBI special agent. He wants to end up with a beautiful wife and a couple of children. For all you underclassmen reading this awesome article, Nic would like to say: “Take pride in everything and focus on your studies.”
