If you happen to drive past the golf course on a nice spring day you are almost guaranteed to see Michael Postma shooting for a hole in one. Michael is a well-rounded student, also dedicating his time to jazz band, football, and large group speech. If Michael isn’t messing around on the golf course or getting a crack out of the movie “Dodgeball,” there is a chance you can find him with his nose in a textbook during school hours. He really pushes himself to success with physics, economics, government, college composition, public speaking, AP calculus, and AP Spanish.
In the future, Michael hopes to reminisce about his time at state jazz band while teaching his future children to play gold. Being a man of few words, Michael would like to pass on, “You don’t realize how much you love something until it’s taken away from you.” Gerald and Audrey Postma must be so proud to have a son that accomplishes so much and has yet to overcome more.
