Where were you on September 17, 1996? Were you awaiting a new Henrichs baby? Probably not, because that would be kind of weird. But fortunately, she arrived anyway, and we now know that wrinkly little baby as the wonderful Chastity Henrichs.
During high school, Chastity has participated in band, large group speech, TATU, and mock trial for four years, dance team for one year, and volleyball for three years. She has also been a wrestling cheerleader, basketball manager, and has operated the light board for musicals.
If you’ve ever had a conversation with Chastity, you can probably feel the passion radiating off of her. Along with her array of musical talent (which is the reason why she’s received the Outstanding Soloist Award for jazz band), she also has a distinct affection towards movies; her favorites include “Olympus Has Fallen,” “Spirited Away,” and the Harry Potter series.
She enjoys rock music, the color orange, the “Immortal Instruments” books, HuHot, calculus, band, “The Walking Dead,” and “Gossip Girl.” Chastity is also devoted to religion and is active in Teens Encounter Christ. She occasionally helps with fundraisers for the Doon First United Methodist Church.
Her classes as a senior here at Central Lyon consist of calculus, physics, band, economics, AP Spanish, speech, and journalism. In the near future, she hopes to receive her master’s degree in computer engineering at either Iowa State University or Colorado State University. Traveling the world with her family is an important goal of hers as well.
If Chastity had the opportunity to spend the day with anyone, she’d spend it with “Gossip Girl” actress Blake Lively, whom Chastity admires because of how hard she’s worked to get to her level of fame.
