You Have the Right to Remain Silent!
In 3rd grade social studies, we are digging into our citizenship unit. Part of being a citizen of the United States is knowing what rights that you have. These rights, outlined in the Bill of Rights, give us the freedom to live our daily lives. Students have had fun by learning about this is multiple ways, including making a poster about our 1st Amendment rights. Students had to list, explain and draw a picture to represent what freedoms we have because of the 1st amendment.
These posters are currently hanging in the hallway by Mr. Jansma's room. Go and check them out!
