Strength and Conditioning
Our athletes have been working hard in strength and conditioning class again this year. We recently tested out in our core lifts, pro agility, broad jump, vertical and box jumps. Our numbers continue to rise, and the athletes are focused on making big improvements this winter. As the winter sports season begins, it is crucial for all of our athletes to continue to lift hard on a weekly basis right through their season. Strength training can keep them fresh and lessen chances for injuries through a long winter season. Keep up the hard work!
Lifters of the Week - two individuals who best meet the following criteria:
- Best use of their time in the weight room throughout the week from start to finish of the period.
- Stick to their workout and does not lose focus of their workout.
- Does not waste time in the weight room
- Challenges themselves with adding weight or adding exercises.
