Nate Deatsch was born on February 11, 2000 to Jim and the late Vicki Childs. Nate has a twin brother Seth, along with three other brothers and two sisters. Nate went on to say, “I wish I could spend one more day with my mom because I never got to meet her and wish she could be here to watch me succeed in my life.”
Nate has participated in football and track all four years he has been in high school. He is especially fond of football. He was number 19 for the lions and has played both wide receiver and kicker. After high school, Nate plans on playing college football.
It is no surprise that Nate’s favorite movie is the Longest Yard. He also really enjoys Strength and Conditioning class. While working out he enjoys listening to rap.
Nate’s most memorable high school moment is when he caught his first varsity touchdown. The advice he would give to underclassmen athletes include, “Play your heart out because once you’re a senior it’s your last chance playing high school sports.”
