Sign Up for 2024-25
Preschool online registration will begin Monday, March 18 (click here), and will end Friday, March 29. In addition, you will still need to register your child in August during family school registration. Call the elementary school office at 712-472-2664 extension 1 or email Rhonda Menning if you have any questions. Your child must be four years old on or before September 15, 2024, to attend preschool next fall.
To attend Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten, your child must be five on or before September 15, 2024. If your child currently attends Central Lyon Preschool, Central Lyon TK, Rock Rapids Head Start, Doon Preschool, or you are considering sending your child to kindergarten or transitional kindergarten, please pick up a form at the Central Lyon Elementary Office or check out the CL website for registration forms (under Parent Info tab or click here,) beginning Monday, March 18. This is sign-up only, you will need to register your child in August. Please print and return completed form to Rhonda Menning in the elementary office by March 29.
Visit Day for preschool, transitional kindergarten, and kindergarten will be Friday, April 26. More information will follow about Visit Day.
